KCA Statement on AI use in Healthcare
At their February 20, 2025, Board Meeting, the KCA Board of Directors approved the following statement on the use of AI in healthcare:
The Kansas Chiropractic Association acknowledges that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a rapidly evolving technology that has a promising future in healthcare. However, the association urges providers and payers in the state of Kansas to remember that AI cannot replace the human touch, empathy, and judgment of an actual human interaction. Healthcare decisions are too important to be left solely to a computer program. The user of AI is ultimately responsible for the generated content and outcomes.
