KCA works hard to bring you excellent continuing education programs and speakers throughout the year. Continuing education courses presented, sponsored, or co-sponsored by KCA meet the highest professional standards and comply with KSBHA regulations. KCA members receive special members-only pricing on state and district level KCA Continuing Education.
Continuing Education Requirements for DCs in Kansas
The state of Kansas requires 50 hours of continuing education each year for license renewal by Doctors of Chiropractic.
At least 20 hours must be in Category I, 1 hour must be in Category III, and the remaining credits in Category II. Full descriptions of Category I, Category III and Category II continuing education can be found in the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts Statutes and Regulations Practice Handbook on the KSBHA website.

Category III requirements are new for the 2022 License Renewal year.

Approval of Continuing Education
The KCA Continuing Education Committee reviews and approves all continuing education for DCs in the state of Kansas. The committee reviews the course content, determines the hours of credit, and classifies the hours as Category I, Category II, or not-approved.
To submit content for approval complete the KCA Continuing Education Approval Application and submit by email along with the instructor’s CV and syllabus of the course for which you are requesting approval. There is a $45 application fee per CE approval request, or a $500 per year fee for 12 months of unlimited CE approval requests. Select and pay for the appropriate fee below. CE approval applications will not be considered until KCA has received payment of the fee. You will be notified of your approval status via email.
