The new Medicare ABN has been posted and is now available for use, valid through March 31, 2029. It replaces the prior version — members can download all approved English, Spanish, and Large Print versions inside.

Earlier this year, KCA’s Medicare Committee submitted a set of questions to CMS about chiropractors treating patients enrolled in Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans when the provider isn’t in that plan’s network. We finally got an official, written answer — and it settles several questions members ask us regularly about billing, disclosure, and whether an insurer can force you into its network.
