Mission

Empowering chiropractors with community, advocacy, resources, and education.

Vision

We envision a Kansas where chiropractic care connects everyone to lifelong wellness.

Core Values

Five Principles
01

Collaboration

We unite the chiropractic profession through partnership and shared purpose.

KCA builds bridges among chiropractors, organizations, and stakeholders, creating a strong, connected community that advances the profession across Kansas.

02

Empowerment

We equip chiropractors with the knowledge, resources, and advocacy they need to thrive.

KCA gives members the confidence, tools, and voice to strengthen their practices, protect their rights, and shape the future of chiropractic care in Kansas.

03

Service

We exist to serve our members with dedication, responsiveness, and purpose.

KCA acts with principles and care in every interaction, listening to members, anticipating their needs, and delivering meaningful value through programs, education, and support.

04

Leadership

We lead with vision, professionalism, and accountability.

KCA sets the standard for association excellence by guiding the profession with foresight, representing chiropractors with integrity, and developing leaders who inspire progress statewide.

05

Excellence

We pursue excellence in everything we do on behalf of Kansas chiropractors.

KCA continually improves its services, education, and advocacy to ensure that our members, and the profession, are equipped for lasting success and recognition.

2026 Strategic Goals

Five Goals. One Direction.

KCA's strategic plan sets clear priorities for membership growth, financial sustainability, member engagement, legislative advocacy, and organizational excellence. Each goal includes specific targets to measure progress.

01

Membership

The essential resource for Kansas chiropractors
Acquisition

Grow membership by 10% per year for five years, starting in 2026. Quarterly outreach to newly licensed DCs, district welcomes, and a formal mentorship program.

Retention

100% retention of new members annually through staff onboarding, drip campaigns, event recognition, and personal outreach from district leadership.

02

Sustainability

Secure financial stability and growth
Financial Sustainability

Diversified revenue, strong reserves, and disciplined fiscal management. Expand non-dues revenue through CE programs, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.

Member ROI

Quantify cost savings, risk mitigation, and education access. Communicate legislative and regulatory wins clearly. Tie every initiative back to member benefit.

03

Engagement

A loyal community contributing to the mission
CE Engagement

Every Kansas chiropractor earns at least one CE hour from KCA per year. Expand CE diversity and empower district leaders to drive attendance personally.

Operational Engagement

Board, district, and committee seats are fully staffed by engaged volunteers, identified through deliberate leadership recruitment.

04

Advocacy

Effectively represent members' interests
Legislative Influence

Monitor bills and committee agendas, prioritize a focused set of objectives each session, and serve as a trusted resource for legislators and their staff.

Regulatory Advocacy

Defend chiropractic scope with rapid-response capacity. Track Board of Healing Arts rulemaking, file comments, and educate members early on regulatory change.

05

Operational Excellence

Continuous improvement and efficient processes
Roles & Accountability

Written role descriptions for District Directors, Committee Chairs, and Board Officers. Annual onboarding, January leadership training, and two district roundtables per year.

Leadership Pipeline

By December 31, 2026, all standing committees are aligned to the strategic plan, meet quarterly, and produce measurable outcomes tied to association priorities.
