KCA Moves Forward to Streamline Office Compliance
KCA recently signed an agreement to help our members streamline office compliance with state and federal regulations (HIPAA, OIG, OSHA…).
We are working behind the scenes to populate Kansas-specific information into the compliance dashboard and hope to launch this new KCA Member Benefit at our 2025 KCA Spring Convention.
KCA Member Access to Clinical Compass
KCA has renewed its support of the Chiropractic Clinical Compass (formerly the CCCGPP). As a KCA Member, you receive complimentary access to Clinical Compass’ guidelines, research, and evidence center at the $60 contributor level.

• Register through the ”Chiropractic State Association” portal by clicking “Evidence Center Register”
• Complete the registration form
• Select “Member Access | ANNUAL – $60.00 – 1 Year” membership level
• Enter the state association discount code: The discount code will be mailed to KCA Members in a separate email.
• The access code will zero out the $60 membership fee
KSBHA Working to Update CE Requirements
At their February 14, 2025, meeting, the Kansas Board of Healing Arts discussed further updates to the continuing education requirements for MD, DO, and DC licensees.
K.A.R. 100-15-5 requires a DC to attest to obtaining 50, 100, or 150 hours of CE over 18, 30, or 42 months before renewal. KSBHA is proposing updating it to require 40 or 120 hours of CE over 12 or 26 months before renewal.
This update reduces the number of possible reporting timelines to two and syncs the reporting periods to better align with our yearly renewal cycle.
KCA will continue to monitor KSBHA board meetings and keep our members updated on potential changes and issues that may affect your license or ability to practice.
