Kansas Mandatory Reporter Laws

KCA has added an update on Kansas’ Mandatory Reporter Laws to the State and Federal Regulations page on www.kansaschiro.com

Kansas has two statutes that relate to mandatory reporting:

  1. Child Abuse and Neglect
  2. Infectious or Contagious Diseases and Conditions.

Doctors of Chiropractic in Kansas are licensed to practice the healing arts and, as such, are held to the reporting standards for both child abuse and neglect and contagious diseases and conditions. The full update can be viewed at https://kansaschiro.com/federal-regulations/ (KCA Member Benefit – must be logged in to view.)
