Every year, decisions are made at the Kansas Statehouse that can directly affect chiropractic practices, our scope of practice, and our patients’ access to care.
The Kansas Chiropractic Association works year-round to make sure chiropractors have a voice in those conversations. But effective advocacy does not begin when a bill is introduced. It begins much earlier by developing relationships with legislators who understand our profession and are willing to listen when issues affecting chiropractic come before them.
That is where the Kansas Chiropractic Association Political Action Committee (KCA PAC) plays an important role.
As KCA PAC Secretary/Treasurer Dr. Brian Asbury explains in this video, our current goal is simple: 100 KCA members supporting the PAC.
Reaching that goal is not about asking a handful of doctors to make large contributions. It is about participation. A PAC supported by chiropractors from across Kansas demonstrates that our profession is engaged and committed to protecting the future of chiropractic in our state.
