Starting with all license renewals this year KSBHA will require all Doctors of Chiropractic to obtain 1 hour of Category III CE.
Category III CME requires either a live presentation or internet based educational activity covering either: 1. Acute or chronic pain management; 2. The appropriate prescribing of opioids; or 3. The use of prescription drug monitoring programs.
Category III CME will not count towards your 20 credit hours of Category I CME but does not increase the total number of CME hours required.
A new on-demand course, Chiropractic Care, Chronic Pain, and Opioids, has been uploaded and meets this new Category III CE Requirement.
