Chiropractic Medicare Modernization Act
Last week, I discussed the importance of being legislatively active for our profession and patients.
A group of dedicated KCA volunteers closed their offices for several days to travel to Washington, DC, to advocate for you and your patients.
Drs. Brian Asbury, Jessica Loveless, Brett Counselman, and Logan Null took time out of their busy practices to lobby Kansas’s federal elected officials on the Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act (S. 106 and H.R. 539.)
The Chiropractic Medicare Modernization Act would establish payment parity and allow doctors of chiropractic to be reimbursed by Medicare for the full scope of their allowed services. It will remove significant financial barriers to seniors looking to receive chiropractic care.
If you happen to see one of these dedicated doctors, please thank them for their effort for chiropractic and chiropractic patients.
